Valentine’s Day Fun in Virtual Reality

What better way to spend quality time with each other than in a game designed for two people to have as much immersive fun as possible?

At The VR Club we often have couples come to play together, not for a romantic setting but to build shared experiences, unique memories, or just for a chance to trash talk your teammate!

Here are some of the best two player games available in VR and why they’re a great choice for a unique Valentine’s Day adventure:

Serious Sam VR: The Last Hope

Stand side by side with your mate and hold your ground against an overwhelming horde of aliens charging full speed.

This one really gets the adrenaline flowing with its gigantic guns, exploding body parts and rocking guitar soundtrack. Guaranteed to make you feel like a badass.

For a similar but more family friendly style try Dick Wilde 2!

QuiVR

Unleash your inner Legolas or Katniss and defend the wall atop a snowy mountainside. Easy to learn but hard to master, this game is very welcoming to newcomers of all ages making it one of our most popular multiplayer games.

Remember to rest your arm between shots of your bow, or you’ll have to awkwardly explain why your arm is so tired the next day!

Rec Room

Paintball and laser tag aren’t the only games in Rec Room, it’s full of different activities to enjoy! Go tenpin bowling, frisbee golf, dodgeball, charades, or just dress up your avatar and hang out at the rec centre!

If you’re up for a challenge there are fun but brutally difficult themed quests (fantasy, sci-fi, Halloween, and pirates)

The Forest

Test the limits of your fear and to try and survive in a forest with a community of bloodthirsty cannibals and mutants.

What’s the worst that could happen when the sun goes down and you haven’t yet built a fire? Will your significant other get dragged off to an uncertain fate first?

Perhaps instead go spelunking down one of the definitely pleasant and not at all terrifying cave systems armed with only your trusty lighter...

Clash of Chefs

If the pressures of modern day have closed in on you and your partner, how about letting off steam by working in a busy restaurant kitchen for fun?

If you’ve played Overcooked this is a similar idea… except you’re the head chef in the kitchen and the orders are piling up and the customers are getting angry and leaving and suddenly your partner just threw a meat patty in your face because they finished their orders up several minutes ago. Aaagh!

Arizona Sunshine

Ever had the debate about whether or not your partner would be the weak link in a zombie apocalypse? Now’s your chance to prove it! Will she shriek and cower in fear? Perhaps he’ll drop his bullets while trying to reload and wind up getting eaten? You’ll probably do both!

In any case there’s something disturbingly satisfying when you land your first headshot on a zombie, that will keep you coming back for more.
